Here's what's new on Websim this month.

Improved Multiplayer

Multiplayer got a lot better. Games run smoother now, and you can build much more impressive multiplayer experiences. Publishing an update no longer kicks or splits players mid-game, and dropped connections come back on their own.

Improved Database Support

You can now give people roles and permissions inside your project, and it remembers them. An admin panel only you can open, mod powers for friends. Just tell the agent who is allowed to do what and it sets everything up.

Improved Remix Suggestions

Remix a project, make it better, and offer the changes back. When you post, choose "Suggest to original" and your suggestion lands in that project's comments. The creator can press Merge and the agent pulls in the parts that fit.

Build Mode: Group Built Projects

Turn on the suggestions board in your project settings and visitors can post ideas and vote on them. The agent builds the winners. Websim City 2.0 is made this way, with over 30 contributors.

Earn Credits by Making Videos

Make a video about a Websim project and earn credits based on views. Payouts are posted publicly, and one short recently earned 11,000 credits. The rules are here.

Websim Agent Can Read Your Project's Comments

Your project's agent can read its comments and reply for you. Ask it to answer questions, take bug reports and fix them, or just thank people. Its replies carry an AI badge, so everyone knows who is talking.

Other Updates

  • A new premium model is available in the Build mode model picker, the Websim Max model. Try it out and share what you make with it in the Discord.
  • Modern app frameworks now work with nothing to set up, so bigger app ideas just work.
  • Typing /clear gives the agent a fresh start without touching your files.

That's all the updates, now go make something!
