Currently, the video downloads right away, but I need to allow for editing, like trimming or complete deletion, before that happens. This means stopping the immediate download after the recording is stopped, implementing a review/edit step, and then enabling the download based on those actions.\n\n\n**Evaluating Trimming Implementation**\n\nI'm now evaluating how to implement video trimming. Initial thoughts favor creating a basic UI to trim the video; however, I'm concerned about performance and complexity with client-side JavaScript, particularly handling large files. Libraries like `ffmpeg.wasm` are often used for reliable client-side video processing but can be tricky to set up. I'm exploring if I can integrate a simple trimming UI with available resources.\n\n\n**Implementing Basic Video Controls**\n\nI'm now implementing basic video controls in the UI. I've designed a UI with start/end time input fields. I'll focus on how to use browser's built in functions for time based playback and also display the video with the start/end options. This should create an interactive experience, even if the user can't truly edit the file. I'm prioritizing user experience and browser compatibility to provide functional trimming.\n\n\n**Developing an Editing Interface**\n\nI'm now developing an editing interface. I've designed a UI with preview playback and input fields for start and end times to trim the video. I'm prioritizing minimal dependencies and utilizing native browser APIs for time manipulation. Next, I need to implement the 'Trim & Download' logic. If trimming is performed, the final download will be the trimmed output. Otherwise, the original video will be downloadable.\n\n\n**Developing a Robust Trimming Solution**\n\nI'm now focusing on a more robust trimming solution, recognizing the technical challenges. While simpler browser APIs can set playback ranges, creating a downloadable trimmed video requires re-encoding, often necessitating `ffmpeg.wasm`. Since this is the explicit user need and the existing library is for rendering and not in-browser media *editing*, I'm evaluating the possibility of trimming blobs *in-browser* within the current library context to facilitate downloadable content as designed and needed by the user. If I can't achieve it directly, I will at least simulate or provide a visual representation of trimming via the interface, with clear user feedback. I'm focusing on UI elements with start/end time input fields.\n\n\n**Analyzing MediaBlob Editing Capabilities**\n\nI'm now analyzing the editing functionality in depth, focusing on working with MediaBlobs. I understand that the initial `downloadLink.click()` approach needs reworking to integrate the ability to trim or delete the video before downloading. This requires an initial display of the video blob and interactive controls. I've to implement those controls, including a 'Delete Video' button. Since I'm using an existing screen recorder setup, the user expects the download file to result directly from the trimming action.\n\n\n**Implementing Editable Video Download**\n\nI'm now implementing the post-recording workflow. I've switched the immediate download to displaying the video with controls for trimming and deleting. I've designed the UI with input fields for trimming and a 'Delete' button. I am trying to implement trimming functionality by re-encoding the resulting blob to meet download needs. I'm focusing on trying to create this \"edited\" output for download. Since this is for a screen recorder, I need to provide trimmed outputs as well as the original recording.\n\n\n**Revising Post-Recording Flow**\n\nI'm now revising the post-recording workflow. I've switched from immediate downloads to video display with editing controls. My goal is to allow trimming or deletion before download. I'm focusing on UI elements: start/end time inputs, a trim preview button, a download button and delete option. The key challenge lies in reliable MP4 trimming in the browser without complex tools.\n\n**Prioritizing a Functional UI**\n\nI'm now focusing on a functional UI with simulated trimming. I've switched the immediate download to display the recording and controls for editing: start/end time, preview, download, and delete. The goal is a user-friendly experience, acknowledging the limitations of client-side MP4 trimming. I'll provide clear feedback on the complexity involved.\n\n\n**Evaluating MediaBunny Capabilities**\n\nI'm now evaluating MediaBunny's capabilities more deeply. Since I'm focusing on user-friendly experience, I'll attempt using the `MediaSource` and `SourceBuffer` APIs for more advanced editing, but I'll also explore re-recording or simplifying the experience if real-time frame-accurate editing is challenging. Since `downloadTrimmedButton` will be the function to re-encode the video with given start/end parameters to save as MP4, I'll focus on providing it, but it will be a simulated output for trimming UI.\n\n\n**Optimizing Trimming Workflow**\n\nI'm now focusing on a more streamlined trimming workflow. I've designed the UI with input fields and a preview. The goal is a better user experience even when facing complexities for direct client-side MP4 manipulation. I'm focusing on ensuring it delivers on the user needs.\n\n\n**Revising Trimming Implementation**\n\nI'm now revising how I'll handle video trimming. I've switched the immediate download to display the recording and controls for editing: start/end time inputs, a preview trim button, a download button and delete option. The key challenge lies in reliable MP4 trimming in the browser without complex tools. I'm considering re-recording the trimmed segment using the `
