In AudioWorkletGlobalScope, Math.random exists? I think yes. But using Math.random produces non-deterministic. Fine. Could avoid random. Maybe use deterministic `(t&255)/255. Use `Math.sin(t/20)*((t>>7)&1?0.2:1)`? That's fine. Keep simple deterministic: `Math.sin(t/25) * ((t>>10)&1?0.3:1)`. Let's use that. \"Floatbeat\" formulas should not rely on random. Replace Fireworks Float with `Math.sin(t/25) * (((t>>10)&1)?0.3:1)`. However dynamic amp.\n\nworklet.js edit:\n\nFind constructor block:\n```\n this.sampleRate = options.processorOptions.sampleRate;\n this.effectiveRate = 8000;\n this.t = 0;\n this.fn = null;\n\n this.port.onmessage = (event) => {\n const data = event.data;\n if (data.formula !== undefined) {\n this.setFormula(data.formula);\n }\n if (data.rate !== undefined) {\n this.effectiveRate = data.rate;\n }\n if (data.stop) {\n this.fn = null;\n }\n };\n```\n\nReplace with:\n```\n this.sampleRate = options.processorOptions.sampleRate;\n this.effectiveRate = 8000;\n this.mode = \"byte\";\n this.t = 0;\n this.fn = null;\n\n this.port.onmessage = (event) => {\n const data = event.data;\n if (data.formula !== undefined) {\n this.setFormula(data.formula);\n }\n if (data.rate !== undefined) {\n this.effectiveRate = data.rate;\n }\n if (data.mode !== undefined) {\n this.mode = data.mode === \"float\" ? \"float\" : \"byte\";\n }\n if (data.stop) {\n this.fn = null;\n }\n };\n```\n\nFind process loop:\n```\n const step = this.effectiveRate / this.sampleRate;\n for (let i = 0; i < out.length; i++) {\n this.t += step;\n const tick = this.t | 0;\n let v;\n try {\n v = this.fn(tick);\n } catch (err) {\n v = 0;\n }\n const sample = (isNaN(v) ? 0 : v) | 0;\n out[i] = ((sample & 255) / 128) - 1;\n }\n```\n\nReplace with:\n```\n const step = this.effectiveRate / this.sampleRate;\n for (let i = 0; i < out.length; i++) {\n this.t += step;\n const tick = this.t | 0;\n let v;\n try {\n v = this.fn(tick);\n } catch (err) {\n v = 0;\n }\n if (this.mode === \"float\") {\n const sample = isNaN(v) ? 0 : v;\n out[i] = Math.max(-1, Math.min(1, sample));\n } else {\n const sample = (isNaN(v) ? 0 : v) | 0;\n out[i] = ((sample & 255) / 128) - 1;\n }\n }\n```\n\nmain.js edits:\n\nAdd const:\nFind:\n```\nconst recBtn = document.getElementById(\"record\");\nconst uploadBtn = document.getElementById(\"uploadBtn\");\nconst audioUpload = document.getElementById(\"audioUpload\");\nconst audioPlayer = document.getElementById(\"audioPlayer\");\n```\nAdd after recBtn maybe:\n```\nconst modeSelect = document.getElementById(\"mode\");\n```\n\nloadPreset: Find function:\n```\nfunction loadPreset(index) {\n const p = presets[index];\n presetSelect.value = index;\n formulaInput.value = p.code;\n checkFormula();\n sendUpdate();\n}\n```\nReplace:\n```\nfunction loadPreset(index) {\n const p = presets[index];\n presetSelect.value = index;\n formulaInput.value = p.code;\n modeSelect.value = p.mode || \"byte\";\n checkFormula();\n sendUpdate();\n}\n```\n\nsendUpdate: Find:\n```\nfunction sendUpdate() {\n if (!workletNode) return;\n workletNode.port.postMessage({\n formula: formulaInput.value,\n rate: 8000,\n });\n}\n```\nReplace:\n```\nfunction sendUpdate() {\n if (!workletNode) return;\n workletNode.port.postMessage({\n formula: formulaInput.value,\n rate: 8000,\n mode: modeSelect.value,\n });\n}\n```\n\nAdd event listener for mode change: Find formulaInput listeners maybe. Add after formulaInput change listener:\n```\nmodeSelect.addEventListener(\"change\", () => {\n sendUpdate();\n});\n```\n\nThat's enough.\n\nstyle.css: Maybe add mode select styling; but generic select styling covers. However `.select-wrap` and select. Fine.\n\nNeed also check placeholder says Bytebeat formula; could update placeholder to \"Bytebeat / Floatbeat formula\". Not necessary.\n\nNeed ensure import map empty etc.\n\nPotential issue: If mode is float and formula returns huge values, clamp.\n\nPotential issue: Floatbeat with formulas that use bitwise produce integers, sound loud. But clamp to [-1,1], so OK.\n\nPotential issue: In floatbeat, typical output is -1..1. If integer large, clamping. Good.\n\nPotential issue: In bytebeat formulas rely on `t` as integer; we still pass tick integer. Fine.\n\nPotential issue: In floatbeat, some formulas might want `t` as float time in seconds, not tick. But user said bytebeat rate 8k; floatbeat often uses tick as well. We'll keep tick.\n\nPotential issue: On random, mode updates.\n\nNow produce final answer with edits and summary.\n\nNeed include file paths and code blocks. Use exact search text from files.\n\nLet's double-check exact text in main.js:\n\n```\nconst recBtn = document.getElementById(\"record\");\nconst uploadBtn = document.getElementById(\"uploadBtn\");\nconst audioUpload = document.getElementById(\"audioUpload\");\nconst audioPlayer = document.getElementById(\"audioPlayer\");\n```\nYes.\n\nFunction loadPreset exact:\n```\nfunction loadPreset(index) {\n const p = presets[index];\n presetSelect.value = index;\n formulaInput.value = p.code;\n checkFormula();\n sendUpdate();\n}\n```\nYes.\n\nsendUpdate exact:\n```\nfunction sendUpdate() {\n if (!workletNode) return;\n workletNode.port.postMessage({\n formula: formulaInput.value,\n rate: 8000,\n });\n}\n```\nYes.\n\nworklet exact matches.\n\nNeed maybe handle `modeSelect` event in case user manually changes mode while playing: yes.\n\nAlso could update `uploadBtn` unrelated.\n\nNow final answer.\n\nindex.html\n```index.html\n```\n\npresets.js\n```presets.js\n```\n\nworklet.js\n```worklet.js\n```\n\nworklet.js\n```worklet.js\n```\n\nmain.js\n```main.js\n```\n\nmain.js\n```main.js\n```\n\nmain.js\n```main.js\n```\n\nmain.js\n```main.js\n```\n\nSummary: Added a Bytebeat/Floatbeat sound-mode toggle to the UI, updated the AudioWorklet to clamp float output to [-1, 1] while keeping byte output masked to 8-bit, and added Floatbeat-specific ride presets that auto-switch the mode when selected.","page_description","cursor","eyJpZCI6IjZhOHUzMXR4azZsNGVnaXZyNzluIn0","token","included",[],"about",{"_188":-5},"parent","routes/browser/layout","actionData","errors"]
