It seems more efficient to add new fields before the franchiseName field rather than modifying large blocks. \n\nI’ll replace the franchiseName block with added show fields. In the JavaScript, I need to make multiple replacements and add new inputs mapping in buildCurrentSpec and btnSimulate spec. For the inputs object, I should add isShow, episodes, and tvViewers and adjust properties accordingly. \n\nWhen creating the show object, I’ll ensure it has all the necessary properties like title, type, and release dates, while also adjusting worldwide gross.\n**Adjusting show parameters**\n\nFor shows, I want to ensure that changing worldwideGross to 0 won’t significantly impact cash flow; this way, it’ll deduct any negatives. The addMovie function updates cash by taking half of worldwideGross and subtracting the budgets.\n\nI’ll enforce deletion rules so that if the releaseDate year is before the studio’s start year, it won’t get added, with an alert to notify.\n\nNext, I need to update index.html and the JS file. I’ll provide SEARCH/REPLACE blocks to find the franchiseName field and insert new fields before it. In the JS file, I need to add the new keys to the inputs object and modify the buildCurrentSpec to include releaseMonth and releaseDay.\n**Updating release date and show handling**\n\nI need to ensure that if a releaseDate value is present, it’s parsed to extract the release month, day, and year. I’ll also include other fields like isShow, episodes, and tvViewers. \n\nNext, I’ll search for the buildCurrentSpec function in the JS file and replace it with the updated version that includes these changes. Additionally, the btnSimulate handler needs modifications to manage shows. I plan to locate the btnSimulate.addEventListener block, check if spec.isShow, and then create a showResult, adding the movie while enforcing the release year check. \n\nOkay, time to produce those changes!\n\nI will add release-date parsing and validation so a movie with a custom date before the studio founding is rejected (deleted) while future-dated releases still \"magically exist\", and add basic TV show support (episode count and first-air viewers) as a new media type stored alongside movies.\n\nindex.html\n```index.html\n```\n\njs\n```\n<<<<<<< SEARCH\n studioType: el('#studioType'),\n homeMarket: el('#homeMarket'),\n customCash: el('#customCash'),\n realismMode: el('#realismMode'),\n // NEW box office inputs\n openingTheaters: el('#openingTheaters'),\n premiumFormat: el('#premiumFormat'),\n awardsBuzz: el('#awardsBuzz'),\n holidayBoost: el('#holidayBoost'),\n intlRollout: el('#intlRollout'),\n popNA: el('#popNA'),\n popINT: el('#popINT'),\n hideGrossUntilLaunch: el('#hideGrossUntilLaunch'),\n exclusiveCountry: el('#exclusiveCountry'),\n // NEW: Animation studio options\n animationType: el('#animationType'),\n isAnimationStudio: el('#isAnimationStudio'),\n};\n=======\n studioType: el('#studioType'),\n homeMarket: el('#homeMarket'),\n customCash: el('#customCash'),\n realismMode: el('#realismMode'),\n // NEW box office inputs\n openingTheaters: el('#openingTheaters'),\n premiumFormat: el('#premiumFormat'),\n awardsBuzz: el('#awardsBuzz'),\n holidayBoost: el('#holidayBoost'),\n intlRollout: el('#intlRollout'),\n popNA: el('#popNA'),\n popINT: el('#popINT'),\n hideGrossUntilLaunch: el('#hideGrossUntilLaunch'),\n exclusiveCountry: el('#exclusiveCountry'),\n // NEW: Animation studio options\n animationType: el('#animationType'),\n isAnimationStudio: el('#isAnimationStudio'),\n // NEW: TV show inputs\n isShow: el('#isShow'),\n episodes: el('#episodes'),\n tvViewers: el('#tvViewers'),\n};\n>>>>>>> REPLACE\n```\n\njs\n```\n<<<<<<< SEARCH\nfunction buildCurrentSpec(includeHideFlag = false) {\n const franchiseName = (inputs.franchiseName.value || '').trim();\n const installmentType = inputs.installmentType.value;\n const installmentNumber = parseInt(inputs.installmentNumber.value || '1', 10);\n\n const primaryGenre = inputs.genre.value;\n const secondaryGenre = inputs.genre2.value;\n const tertiaryGenre = inputs.genre3.value;\n const genreParts = [primaryGenre, secondaryGenre, tertiaryGenre]\n .map(g => (g || '').trim())\n .filter(g => g);\n const uniqueGenres = Array.from(new Set(genreParts));\n const combinedGenre = uniqueGenres.join(' / ');\n\n const spec = {\n title: inputs.movieTitle.value.trim() || 'Untitled Film',\n genre: combinedGenre || primaryGenre,\n budgetM: Number(inputs.budget.value || 0),\n marketingM: Number(inputs.marketing.value || 0),\n starPower: Number(inputs.starPower.value || 0),\n criticScore: Number(inputs.criticScore.value || 0),\n audienceScore: Number(inputs.audienceScore.value || 0),\n rating: inputs.rating.value,\n season: inputs.season.value,\n releaseType: inputs.releaseType.value,\n runtimeMin: Number(inputs.runtime.value || 0),\n releaseYear: appState.time.year,\n franchiseName,\n installmentType,\n installmentNumber,\n priorFranchiseWW: computePriorFranchiseWW(franchiseName),\n openingTheaters: Number(inputs.openingTheaters.value || 0),\n premiumFormat: inputs.premiumFormat.value,\n awardsBuzz: Number(inputs.awardsBuzz.value || 0),\n holidayBoost: !!inputs.holidayBoost.checked,\n intlRollout: inputs.intlRollout.value,\n popularityNA: Number(inputs.popNA.value || 50),\n popularityINT: Number(inputs.popINT.value || 50),\n exclusiveCountry: inputs.exclusiveCountry ?
