There's a bug with friending and crate opening on Chromebooks. The issue seems to stem from the absence of the battle button in the HTML for friends items, despite the selector expecting it. It looks like the rendering logic might not account for missing buttons, and also there might be issues with username input being empty. I’ll need to figure out how to fix this in the code.\n**Investigating subscription and crate bugs**\n\nI think the requests to subscribe might not be hooked properly because in `main.js`, we call `initFriends`, but then the callback for `subscribeRequests` might not store requests in `friendsAPI.requests` first. There's also a potential bug with using `await window.websim.getCurrentUser()` in `friends.js`, which could be affected on a Chromebook. Now, regarding the crate opening issue, it could relate to audio autoplay or the layout of images. I’ll look into possible issues with the open button being disabled—maybe double-tapping could be a factor on Chromebooks.\n**Analyzing audio and crate bugs**\n\nI think the issue might be that audio can’t play without user interaction, but we call `sfx.crack.play` in the `onOpenEgg` function, which should be triggered by a click. There might be performance differences on Chromebooks affecting crate openings, especially since users might click to open eggs too quickly. There's a comment suggesting bugs related to crate opening on Chromebooks, possibly linked to modal sizes or scrolling. I need to investigate if paths for assets and case sensitivity on Chromebooks could also be factors.\n**Implementing defensive fixes**\n\nTo address some ambiguity, I think I should add defensive fixes. For the `onOpenEgg` function with crates, I want to ensure it returns rarity and pets while making sure the modal can handle scenarios where `pets.length` is greater than one. There might be a bug with the keep button only retaining the first pet, but I see that we loop through all pets in `onKeep`, which is good. \n\nI also noticed a more critical bug in `ui-friends.js`: we render friend items, but the battle button is missing, preventing challenges. Plus, we don't display incoming requests since the initial call in `updateFriendsUI` uses an empty array. I need to work on that!\n**Addressing friend and crate issues**\n\nI’m running into a more specific issue with `ui-friends.js`. After rendering friends, we attach event listeners to `.battle-btn`, but since they don’t exist, users can't challenge anyone despite being able to add friends. There’s no feedback when clicking \"Add Friend,\" so I’ll wrap `sendFriendRequest` in a try/catch to show alerts and ensure subscriptions use the correct room. \n\nI’ll make clear fixes: \n\n- I’ll add a \"Challenge\" button in the friends list. \n- In `sendFriendRequest`, I’ll add alerts for better feedback. \n\nFor crates on Chromebooks, I’ll implement a guard to prevent multiple concurrent calls and ensure the scroll area is appropriate for smaller screens. I’ll also address the `openBtn.onclick` to include error handling, ensuring better user experience and functionality. Let’s get to these edits!\n\nI will fix the friends system so sending and displaying friends reliably works (including a visible Challenge button) and harden the crate-opening modal so egg crates open robustly even if something goes wrong on Chromebook.\n\nui-friends.js\n```ui-friends.js\n```\n\nui-egg.js\n```ui-egg.js\n```\n\n```\n///ui-egg.js\n<<<<<<< SEARCH\n openBtn.onclick = async () => {\n openBtn.disabled = true;\n eggImg.classList.add('shake');\n await sleep(620);\n eggImg.classList.remove('shake');\n modalEl.querySelector('.egg-wrap').classList.add('cracked');\n\n const result = await onOpenEgg(currentEgg);\n currentResult = result;\n\n const pets = result?.pets || (result?.pet ?
