After the user selects an image, I will append the image tag to the `image-preview-container`, which will reside within the chat input area. I will also have to add some custom CSS styling.\n\nI've decided on the following `index.html` structure:\n\n```html\n

\n```\nI'll populate the `image-preview-container` with an `img` tag when an image is selected, adding an image preview thumbnail before sending.\n\n\n**Implementing Image Previews**\n\nI'm now implementing the image previews within the `image-preview-container`. I'll use JavaScript to dynamically create and append `` tags to display the selected image. I also plan to add a close button for users to remove the preview. I will have to add some custom CSS styling for this new element.\n\n\n**Adding Close Button Logic**\n\nI'm currently focused on the `remove-image-btn` and its logic. I'm adding a close button to the image preview to let the user remove the image if they chose the wrong one. I will use the `onclick` event to attach a function which will remove the image tag from the DOM.\n```html\n

\n```\nI'll also need to add functionality to display this image preview and hide it in the appropriate function calls.\n\n```js\n// JavaScript\nfunction removeImage(imagePreviewContainer) {\n imagePreviewContainer.remove();\n}\n```\n\nThis addition will allow users to manage their image uploads more easily.\n\n\n**Finalizing Preview Refinements**\n\nI'm now focusing on finalizing the image preview logic. I will manage the display and removal of the image preview and associated close button. I will utilize JavaScript functions for creating the preview elements. I will also incorporate event listeners to handle the preview removal using an onclick event and the remove method.\n\n\n\nI will add the functionality for you to send an image to the chat. This will include adding an upload button, allowing you to preview the image before sending, and then displaying it in the chat history once sent.\n\nindex.html\n\n```index.html\n```\n\nstyle.css\n```style.css\n```\n\nscript.js\n```script.js\n```","page_description","ChatSim is a web application that enables users to engage in chat conversations with an AI model, specifically version 3.5.
