SCENE START: THE BALLROOM - ROYAL TRYOUTS REGISTRATION

The ship's grand ballroom is overflowing. Hundreds of characters, representing all genders and species, queue eagerly beneath opulent, if temporary, decorations. King Rock sits upon a temporary, heavily guarded throne made of three stacked shipping pallets, flanked by stone gargoyles he inexplicably brought aboard. A velvet rope separates him from a long line of hopeful applicants vying for a spot in his exclusive 'Royality Club.'

In the crowd, Sonic paces impatiently, occasionally vibrating. Felicity adjusts her unicorn horn, ready for her close-up. Teardrop silently assesses the structural integrity of the ceiling. Henry Stickmin eyes a shiny ceremonial scepter. Wenda whispers nervously to Carrie, who simply phases slightly through the floor. The Duck stands near the snack table, giving a dubious quack at a bowl of peanuts. Fancy Pants sketches the scene. Windows displays a PowerPoint presentation detailing 'Why I Am The Superior Operating System.'
