“Insect Vision Simulator” is a smartphone app that lets you see the world through an insect's eyes in real time. It uses the rear camera, processes the image like a fly's visual system (contrast detection, ON/OFF separation, motion direction detection), and displays an optic flow map with colored arrows. A simple and fascinating tool for understanding insect vision!
