I need to update this in two places: translating in the render and in the earlier pointer calculations. Right now, using `camera.x * camera.zoom` is causing a mismatch that I need to correct. Also, I should consider adjusting how `panToCountry` sets `camera.x` to align with this new approach.\n**Resolving translation and camera offset**\n\nIn the `screenToWorld` function, the x-coordinate is computed as `(e.clientX - rect.left - canvas.width/2 - camera.x)/camera.zoom`, which gives world coordinates. To pan to a country, the `camera.x` should equal `pos.x`, so it seems inconsistent since translation uses `canvas.width/2 + camera.x`. The original code had `camera.x` aligned with world coordinates. So, translate should actually be `canvas.width/2 - camera.x * camera.zoom` to correctly render the world origin at the center. I need to implement this correctly!\n**Adjusting pointer math and translation**\n\nI noticed that the pointer math, which is calculated as `(e.clientX - rect.left - canvas.width/2 - camera.x)/camera.zoom`, needs some attention. To invert rendering correctly, the translation should be `canvas.width/2 - camera.x * zoom`. The pointer world x should be adjusted, but that could get messy. A better option is to modify the pointer coordinate calculations to match the render translation. I’ll change occurrences in three places — pointerdown, pointermove, and panToCountry — to properly incorporate `camera.x * camera.zoom`. This should help create consistency!\n**Updating coordinate calculations**\n\nIf translation uses `+camera.x * zoom`, then `camera.x` functions as a world offset in pixels. To improve the `panToCountry` function, I think it’s better to simply set `camera.x` equal to `pos.x`, and `camera.y` equal to `pos.y`. So, I need to adjust the pointerdown calculation for coordinates by subtracting `camera.x * camera.zoom`. I’ll also keep the render translation as it is. Now I'll prepare the search and replace blocks for `index.html` to make these changes easily.\n**Deriving correct formulas**\n\nOkay, I need to derive the correct formula for rendering. If the translate is `canvas.width/2 + camera.x * camera.zoom`, then for scaling, the worldX should be calculated as `(screenX - canvas.width/2)/camera.zoom - camera.x`. I’ll rewrite it to be `(e.clientX - rect.left - canvas.width/2)/camera.zoom - camera.x`, because the current formula isn’t matching up correctly. I’ll also adjust the pointermove for `selectedUnit.targetX`. Plus, the update for `isMapDragging` seems fine as is. I’ll prepare the search blocks for those changes.\n\nI will fix the coordinate math so pointer hit-testing and unit dragging match the render translation by correcting panToCountry and the world coordinate calculations in pointer handlers.\n\nindex.html\n```index.html\n```\n\nindex.html\n```index.html\n```\n\nindex.html\n```index.html\n```\n\nSummary: I changed panToCountry to center the camera on world coordinates and updated the pointerdown/pointermove world-coordinate math so clicks and drags map correctly to world positions used by rendering.","page_description","This page contains a web-based World War II simulator that allows users to interact with a map and manage military units from various countries during…","cursor","eyJpZCI6InQ0cDUzN2Y1NW5zbXBfZWNqc3EzIn0","token","included",[],"about",{"_191":-5},"parent","routes/browser/layout","actionData","errors"]
