The user types '<', but there's a risk the browser misinterprets that. I have to ensure they can type '' without it autocorrecting too early. They want the autocorrect to work without blocking intermediate typing. I should also implement cursor movement, allowing arrow keys to move the caret within the text. It might be simpler to create a cursor index and allow both inserting and deleting characters at the cursor’s position.\n**Refining input handling**\n\nI need to make sure that typing '<' isn't blocked. I want to allow the user to type it without immediately converting it during rendering. If they finish typing something like '', it could autocorrect because innerHTML sees it as a tag. I’ll use room.updatePresence with the raw string and, when rendering, replace both forms of '<' to avoid issues. I'll escape the typingText when building entry.html, then run replaceSprites on the escaped string for safety, which already handles both cases properly.\n**Implementing cursor handling**\n\nI need to address that typing '\" can be typed character-by-character without being blocked.\n\nclient.js\n```client.js\n```\n\nSummary: I added a cursor position (myCursorPos), changed typing to insert/delete at the cursor, and added ArrowLeft/ArrowRight (plus Home/End/Delete) handling so you can move through and edit text (including typing \"\" character-by-character) without being blocked; presence updates still broadcast the censored typed text and sprites are converted at render time.","page_description","cursor","eyJpZCI6InRxX3Z3aXludmZzMG9naDNweHhlIn0","token","included",[],"about",{"_194":-5},"parent","routes/browser/layout","actionData","errors"]
